“Tho Pilpot coloth and cosan that now its has mad olnf put upon the pulpit the 24 day of April in the year of our Lord 1687.
Mr Cumin (Minister), Edward Long (Churchwarden), Richard Higgs, John Atneaves (Churchwarden), William Maynard (Clerk)

“12 Jul 1735 Thomas Hillerd, ?an God himself”   (entry within 1672 Baptisms)
“19 Jul 1739 Sarah Dicke, ?an God herself”   (entry within 1672 Baptisms)

“3 Jul, Sarah Pick, hanged her self”   (entry within 1686 Baptisms)

Memorandum dated 1823
“Memorandun – The Reverend Mr Edmonstone Vicar of Potterne has delivered into my hands the loose sheets of the most ancient registers of this church which are fast decaying that they might be arranged and transcribed as far as possible for the benefit of the Parish”
